Whole in One — Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Short version: your lists stay on your phone. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no ads.
What stays on your phone
Everything you add (items, people, ratings, notes, watched episodes, settings, an imported Netflix file) is stored only on your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it. You can export a copy from Settings › Export my data.
What leaves your phone
When you search for a film, show, game or book, the words you typed are sent directly from the app to public catalogs to find the title, its cover and details: The Movie Database (TMDB), TVmaze, Wikipedia / Wikidata and Open Library. As with any internet request, these services receive your IP address. Their own privacy policies apply. Covers are loaded from those services' image servers. Nothing else is sent: not your lists, not your contacts, not who you are.
Sagas and show status
To show which films, shows, games and books belong to the same saga, and whether a show has ended, the app sends the catalog identifiers of titles in your lists (for example the Wikidata number of "Star Wars") to Wikidata, TMDB or TVmaze. It does not send your lists, ratings or notes.
Notifications
If you turn on running-low reminders, the app schedules them on your phone. They are not sent through any server.
Links you open
Buttons such as "Open in IMDb" or "Open Viewing activity" open other websites in your browser. Those sites have their own policies.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
Changes
If the app ever adds an account, sync or ads, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described in the release notes.
